Questions renters ask
What is a rental CV?
A rental CV, or tenant CV, is a one-page summary of you as a tenant: your work and income, who will live with you, pets, smoking, rental history and references. You send it with your enquiry so the letting agent can see you are a good fit before they offer you a viewing.
What goes in a rental offer letter?
The property, the advertised rent, when you want to move in and for how long, a short case for you as a tenant, and confirmation that references are ready. Offer the advertised rent. Do not offer more than it or offer rent in advance.
Is the generator free?
Yes. You can write up to five sets a day without an account. Your details are remembered in this browser so you do not have to type them again, but Dwellio does not keep them on its servers unless you sign in and choose to save them to your renter profile.
Can I edit what it writes?
Yes. Both documents appear in editable boxes. Check every detail before you send them: the generator only uses what you enter, and anything you leave blank is left out rather than guessed.
